Front Line Assembly’s Rhys Fulber has kept himself busy, and is already getting ready to release his second solo album under his own name.
His first album was “Your Dystopia, My Utopia” and it came out in June 2018, filled with atmospheric industrial techno.
The new album is called “Ostalgia” which refers to nostalgia for East Germany (DDR). It’s inspired from Rhys’ German heritage, and “reflects not only the nostalgia and comfort that a strictly structured culture can bring, but the immense chaos and uncertainty that comes from the eruption of such a culture”, says the press release.
Sonic Groove will release the album on September 6, 2019.
