Norwegian band Echo Image released their debut album “Compuphonic” in 2001. It is an astounding all time synthpop classic. Then they almost disappeared from the scene, except for some small nuggets here and there, like a one off single a couple of years ago and some gigs. But now, things are stirring again…
As a first step, the complete catalogue – including EP:s – are now available on all digital services. Meanwhile, Echo Image’s Pål-Magnus Rybom is toiling away on new material in close collaboration with Stephan Groth from Apoptygma Berzerk (who also helped out on the early material).
No dates are known at this time, only that they’re working on both a single and an album.
