New albums from Legendary Pink Dots and Ka Spel

After more than 30 years and over 40 albums, The Legendary Pink Dots have scheduled yet another album, "Seconds Late for the Brighton Line", for an October 5 release (label: Roir). We can expect "pulsing kraut-rock, dark and sinister pop and epic post-industrial soundscapes". Listen to yourself below.

Members Niels van Hoorn & Martijn de Kleer have left the band which now is a quartet.

In one month, the Dots embark on an extensive American tour.

Legendary Pink Dots front man Edward Ka Spel has made a new solo album, "The Minus Touch". The label Beta-Lactam also continue to rerelease his "China Doll" albums.

New Front Line Assembly EP with two unreleased tracks

The second Front Line Assembly single off the album "Improvised.Electronic.Device" will be "Angriff" in October. This limited edition tour product will feature two previously unreleased tracks and six versions of "Angriff" (radio edit and remixes by Project Pitchfork, Tim Skold, Mindless Faith, Mind.in.a.box and FLA themselves).


The Neon Judgement dig deep into the archives

More news from Belgium and another dark electronic band that started in the 80:s: The Neon Judgement.

"TV Treated" and "Suffering", the two first cassettes from the duo, have been remastered and released on vinyl LP. This product from Dark Entries is a limited edition (500 numbered copies), including lyrics and photos, called "Early Tapes".

"Smack EP" is another new release: a digital EP with remixes which was released three days ago.


New album from Absolute Body Control

Dirk Ivens and Eric van Wonterghem started up their first band Absolute Body Control 1980. After releasing new versions of classic tracks like "Figures" and "Give Me Your Hands" on the "Wind[Re]Wind" album, it's now time for brand new material. The album "Shattered Illusion" will be out on October 16 through Daft and Sleepless Records. The band will play Germany, Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands this fall.

Release just got the news that the band will also release the 5CD box "Tapes 81-89" this fall. The material have previously been released on vinyl in 2007 by Vinyl-on-demand, but this will be the first time many tracks are available on CD.


Danish fest headlined by Almond and FLA

The Danish city Århus hosts the Recession Festival again on October 8-9. The program 2010 includes Marc Almond, Front Line Assembly, Portion Control, Rummelsnuff featuring Claus Larsen, Necro Facility, Kite, Andreas Tilliander and Familjen. More acts will be announced shortly.
