Charity concert with The Buggles

Sep 16, 2010 | Addition made: Sep 17, 2010 | By: Fredrik "Schlatta" Svensson (Gothenburg, Sweden)

On September 28, pop legends The Buggles will play live for the first and last time ever at the Supperclub in London. This is 31 years after the hit "Video Killed the Radio Star" was released in 1979.

Trevor Horn regrouped the original Buggles - Geoff Downes (Yes, Asia) and Bruce Woolley (Camera Club, Grace Jones) - to perform their classic debut album "The Age of Plastic" in full. In addition Trevor Horn has gathered some special guests to perform as well, including OMD.

This event is being staged exclusively to raise funds for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. All proceeds both from "The Lost Gig" will be donated to the hospital.

On a side note, the new OMD album "The History of Modern" is available in full at their MySpace.
