Swedish duo Hearts of Black Science have found their new label in the form of – ditto Swedish – Progress Productions. The band celebrates its 10 year anniversary this year, and already have two albums under their belt.
The band consists of Daniel Änghede and Tomas Almgren and together they create dark, brooding synthpop mixed with shoegaze, goth and new wave pop.
The first single “Protector” from the upcoming album – which is out on CD and vinyl in September – is already out, and there’s also an accompanying video for it that you can watch below. The album will feature guest appearances by Chrysta Bell (who worked with David Lynch on her debut) and Justin Greaves (Crippled Black Phoenix).
