Are Sneaker Pimps planning a return?

British trip-hop / electronic band Sneaker Pimps released a couple of seminal albums before disbanding. The members moved on to different projects, and successfully so.

You might have heard of IAMX for example, Chris Corner’s baby. Liam Howe has written and produced for a lot of different artists (Marina and the Diamonds, Adele, Lana Del Rey, London Grammar, Ellie Golding and even IAMX). Sneaker Pimps lyricist Ian Pickering has worked with Front Line Assembly, among others.

Then suddenly, a confirmed tweet called “SneakerPimpsNow” appeared in May, and hinted about new material and a new line-up. Nothing more is known, but it seems legit. We’ll let you know when we know.
