More news from The Orb – new single to be followed by new album

The Orb have released a new single “Rush Hill Road”, to be followed on the 22nd June by the new album “No Sounds Are out of Bounds”. Both form part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the seminal ambient electronic music group, along with the festival to be held at the Roundhouse in London – Orbfest on the 23rd June.

“Rush Hill Road” continues The Orb’s love of dub house ska, while the album, if the title is anything to go by, will be more open in its approach to music style, and has some surprises in store – one exciting note being the return of Jah Wobble into the Orb fold, his first appearance on an Orb track since the classic single “Blue Room”.
