Vocalist Frida Madeleine leaves Sundsvall’s Red Mecca

“I See Darkness in You” (May 22) will be the last Red Mecca album with Frida Madeleine behind the mic.

This record and their June 2 concert in Sundsvall, their home town in northern Sweden, will mark the end of the current line-up. But musical maestro Jan Strandkvist will carry on with the atmospheric electronic project, most likely with a new vocalist. Read more on their Facebook page.
