SMP mourns the “Death of the Format”

Industrial rock band Sounds of Mass Production – aka SMP – will release their seventh studio album “Death of the Format” on WTII Records. Jason Bazinet, the mastermind behind SMP, has worked on the album for 2 years, and now it’s ready to hit the shelves on June 11. 

According to the press release, the band is returning to the roots – ie industrial rock with influences by rap and punk. Jason Bazinet har recently moved from Seattle to New York. He has been a part of the scene for a long time, having worked with bands such as Front Line Assembly, Chemlab, 16Volt, Left Spine Down etc etc.
