The winner of the Manifest “synth” award

Tonight, the annual Manifest Awards for Swedish independent music were held in Stockholm. In the “synth” category, the following bands were nominated: Page for “Hemma” (Wonderland Records), Covenant for “Leaving Babylon” (Dependent), Henric de la Cour for “Mandrills” (Progress Productions) and Norma for “The Invisible Mother” (Novoton).

The Mobile Homes handed over the award to relatively new Covenant recruit Daniel Jonasson (a Stockholm resident). The other members were not able to attend.

Johan Carlsson and Tobias Eliasson from Release Magazine are part of the jury.

One week ago, synth punk trio Vanligt Folk (Progress Productions) won the Manifest video award in Gothenburg.
