Swedish synthpop veterans The Mobile Homes just announced the title of their upcoming album and released a new video – watch it below.
“Trigger” is the name of the band’s first full length album in 11 years, and will come out on March 26.
The band has gone through some member changes through the years. Now the band consists of founding members Andreas and Patrik Brun, Hans Erkendahl, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen – the latter two from Kent, one of the biggest bands to ever have existed in Sweden.
The band is also switching to a new label, Wild Kingdom / Sound Pollution. They still use Psykbunkern as their studio and base, but wanted to have a greater international reach with “Trigger” which the new label can provide.
You can check out the album track “Via Dolorosa” below. The video features Swedish music journalist Fredrik Strage as a Jesus figure carrying a synthesizer on his back, and is filmed and edited by Leo Josefsson, known from bands like Statemachine, Us and Lowe among others.
