Hellfest 2022 (June 17-19) in Clisson, France, has released the massive line-up for a second wave (June 23-26).
The first weekend is sold out since 2019, so we’re not listing headliners here but the second weekend is breaking news.
Friday the 24th is like Christmas Eve for Release readers with Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Youth Code, Killing Joke, Health plus two bands to be confirmed, all on the main stage in one day. Of course, chances are we will see more European dates with these bands in June and July next year.
Other stages that day has Alice Cooper, Atari Teenage Riot, New Model Army and Moonspell. The line-up also includes Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Nightwish, In Extremo and Epica. Of course, mainstream headliners like Metallica, Scorpions, Guns’n'roses, Whitesnake and Bad Religion will make sure these dates will sell out in a couple of hours. If you’re into metal and rock, there are dozens of other bands to watch, after all that’s the main profile of Hellfest. They’ve booked them all.
