Tim Skold (KMFDM, Marilyn Manson et al) and Nero Bellum (Psyclon Nine) have joined forces as Not My God.
They’ve worked together before, where Skold was Psyclon’s live guitarist, and Nero was Skold’s keyboard player. Now they’ve written and produced an album together.
The album “Simulacra” will be released by Metropolis on CD, vinyl and digitally on October 15. The first track released is “Ashes” which you can watch and listen to below, and here’s what Nero has to say about it:
- With “Ashes” we wanted to take a step away from contemporary methods of songwriting. We wanted to assemble an artificial world from fractured pieces in which the bruised and broken would give rise to something resembling beauty.
