Nick Holmes and Greg Mackintosh from gothic metal band Paradise Lost have just released the first single from a new, electronic side project.
Back in 1999, Paradise Lost released the album “Host”, which saw the band turn on their synthesizers and go from gothic metal to dark electronic pop influenced by Depeche Mode. The album divided their fanbase, but Nick Holmes always wanted to more in that style. And now is apparently the time, as Nick and Greg have started the new project Host, named after the particular album.
A first taste is out now in the form of “Tomorrow’s Sky” which you can watch below, and the album “IX” is due to come out in February 2023.
