Today, Kite’s new label Dais Records announced a new single with two new tracks – and two quite prominent guests.
“Losing” is a “six-minute empty call for emotional response”, complete with backing vocals from Henric de la Cour and Anna von Hausswolff. The other track, available now, is the vocal-centered ballad “Glassy Eyes”, a song that the synthpop duo has performed live recently.
The single will be out in April 19 in no less than four 7″ vinyl formats: black, transparent clear vinyl (limited edition 800 copies), cloudy red vinyl (700 copies) and transparent clear with black and red splatter vinyl (500 copies). Despite another record label change, there’s still no word of a Kite (debut) album. It’s safe to say that these guys really love the single and EP formats.
