Two weeks to Front Line Assembly's new single
--
New single and album from Vancouver's Front Line Assembly.
• A little reminder of what Front Line Assembly
is up to. The new single from the industrial giants is called "Everything
Must Perish" (September 11) and shows a more danceable and perhaps softer side
of the band. The upcoming album "Epitaph" (October 9), however, is said
to be a kind of return to the hard sound of earlier FLA, while still being
very modern and even more electronic than before (if that's possible?).
The track list: "Haloed", "Dead Planet", "Backlash", "Epitaph", "Everything Must Perish", "Conscience", "Decoy", "Insolence", "Krank It up" and "Existence".
The first
25 000 copies of "Epitaph" will show up in a special edition digipak with bonus material.
You can listen to the single in the media section of www.delerium.com. It seems US label Metropolis will release the album in Europe as well, through their distribution partners.

New Norwegian synth sounds...
•
More and more electronic bands
from Norway are popping up nowadays. Pride and Fall
is one of them, and their
new, nameless demo is highly influenced by fellow countrymen Apoptygma
Berzerk and also British VNV Nation.
Pride and Fall has a guitarist in their line-up. /Niklas Forsberg
...and the Finns are also at it
•
80th Disorder
is the name of another unsigned Scandinavian act. Hailing from Finland,
their music bears healthy doses of originality. Their demo "Les Précieuses
Ridicules" is synthpop, but with a twist. Those interested can download
the tracks from this release at their site.
