Adrian White leaves Front Line Assembly; focus on Silent Alarm

Dec 6 2007 | By: Johan Carlsson (Stockholm, Sweden)

After leaving some scathing remarks on the Front Line Assembly Mindphaser forum (the posts have since been removed) about his old band, Adrian White has now left the band.

He will focus on his own project Silent Alarm, and the first EP "Summer Fades" is now available digitally here. It's got four tracks on it, sounding a bit like a heavier Delerium. It's also produced by FLA and Delerium's producer Greg Reely.

Adrian is taking Silent Alarm on the road next year, both in USA and Europe.

Ladytron album on Nettwerk in May

Dec 4 2007 | By: Mikael Kahrle (Gothenburg, Sweden)

Ladytron have been signed by Nettwerk and are currently in a Paris studio, recording their fourth album with co-producer Vicarious Bliss of Ed Banger Records (Busy P, DJ Mehdi, Justice). He has previously made a mix of "Soft Power" from the last album, "Witching Hour" (this album is something of a Release favourite).

- It's already going extremely well; very exciting, the band says.

They will stay in Paris for the rest of the year and the new full length is scheduled for May, to be followed by a world tour. Three of the members are also doing various DJ gigs throughout December.

The Ladytron remix of "The Beginning of the End" on Nine Inch Nails' new "Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D" is one the highlights of that album.
