It’s in 5/5 waltz beat, and is a catchy little number made to promote their new compilation “Ultimate", out since November 1. The single is out now in digital form and the physical release is on November 29. The "Ultimate" special edition's DVD includes BBC TV performances and their concert from Glastonbury this year. There are rumours about a pretty special Depeche Mode remix album set for next year. Vince Clarke stated on his Twitter that he’s working on a remix of “Behind the Wheel”, and now www.depeche-mode.com reports that Alan Wilder is making a remix as well. We hope to hear more of this soon. In other Depeche related news, Vince Clarke and Martin Gore is collaborating on a techno sort of album. Also revealed on Vince Clarke’s Twitter. New Die Krupps EP features "Dr. Mabuse" Nov 8, 2010 | By: Mikael Kahrle (Gothenburg, Sweden) The new Die Krupps album will not see the light of day until 2011. However, a new EP, "Als wären wir für Immer" will be released on Thursday, November 11. This product features eight tracks including a Die Krupps version of the Propaganda hit "Dr. Mabuse". Die Krupps' Ralf Dörper has also been a member of Propaganda. Die Krupps are signed to the restarted German label SPV. Genesis P-Orridge leaves Throbbing Gristle via e-mail Nov 2, 2010 | By: Mikael Kahrle (Gothenburg, Sweden) "Throbbing Gristle has ceased to exist, at least as a live entity", the remaining members says after receiving two e-mails from Genesis P-Orridge on October 27. In these letters he wrote that he had returned to his New York home and was no longer willing to perform in the legendary industrial band. The three remaining members will perform as X-TG instead of Throbbing Gristle tonight in Bologna, Italy, and on November 5 in Porto, Portugal. Their Prague concert two days ago had to be cancelled. First 10 acts announced for Bloc Nov 1, 2010 | By: Mike Whyte (London, UK) The first ten acts have been announced for Bloc festival 2011, taking place between March 11-13, at Minehead once more. These include the legendary LFO, with their first UK show since 2008, Moderat, Beardyman, Vitalic and Joy Orbison (who was previously seen by this reviewer at Bloc in 2009). More acts will be released over the coming months, and Release will be there for the main event itself, so keep checking for updates on what is sure to be a great event once more. |
