The fire started during the London riots on Monday night and the result could be catastrophical to the labels. Some of the labels that might be affected are: Mute, Domino, Warp, Beggars Banquet, Kitsune, Ninja Tune, 4AD, Nuclear Blast, Wall of Sound and One Little Indian. So now it's Bill, Kevin and me again, Tracey Howe says. If and when any new material will be released is not known at this time, but Rational Youth have previously announced five 2011 remake/remix EP:s (YUL). On September 16, the brother project Noisuf-X's (X-Fusion spelled backwards) new album will be delivered: "Dead End District". The last Noisuf-X album "Excessive Exposure" featured guest artists like Peter Spilles (Project Pitchfork) and Johan van Roy (Suicide Commando). This time around, Noisuf-X have collaborated with English ska newcomers Population and the result is said to be an interesting fusion of noise industrial dance and ska they call "future ska". |
