The three members of Depeche Mode have met several times lately to make up their minds about the future. Martin Gore will start writing new songs and the band hope to enter the studio in the end of the year.

Experimental electronic duo Autechre will release "EP7", an eleven track EP, on Warp on May 31. Also on Warp, Squarepusher is
soon to release a follow up EP to his recent mini album "Budakhan Mindphone", which will include remixes by Autechre and Luke Vibert.

Front Line Assembly on tour
On April 24 Front Line Assembly kicked off their new Implosion tour in their hometown Vancouver. They will tour North America until May 22 together with Spahn Ranch and Switchblade Symphony.
Impressive remix compilation
Sexy Beat, a sublabel of Invisible Records, has released a double CD compilation, "Chemical Warfare", featuring artists like Scorn, Sow, Meg Lee Chin, Evil Mothers and Psychic TV remixed by other artists like Autechre, Pig, Martin Atkins, KMFDM and Download, respectively. /Kristoffer Noheden

Another tribute album is on it's way. This time it is Duran Duran who will have the honour. Kylie Minogue and Ben Lee will record a version of "The Reflex".
Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig
This huge festival will take place in Leipzig between May 21 and 24. Among the artists performing is Anathema, Cradle of Filth, Dance or Die, Dimmu Borgir, Ikon, Inkubus Sukkubus, The Last Dance, My Dying Bride, Project Pitchfork, Secret Discovery, Sex Gang Children, The Creatures and lots more! Pig's new album delayed
The forthcoming Pig album "Black Brothel" has been further delayed, and is now expected to be released this fall on Wax Trax!/TVT Records. First a mini album with two new tracks, two live tracks and some remixes will be released on July 17, unfortunately only in Japan. /Kristoffer Noheden, Mikael Kahrle
New Moby 18 track album on May 17
Moby's new album is named simply "Play" and is scheduled for May 17. It will be released, not only in the CD format, but also as cassette and double vinyl. The singles "Honey" and "Run on" will be included.
New Coil album without distribution
The new Coil album "Musick to Play in the Dark; Volume 1" is available only directly from the band. The since long recorded forthcoming album "Backwards" is still expected out on Nothing later this year. /Kristoffer Noheden
