Where does all this goth metal come from and why is so much of it annoying? Century is a sideproject to the German metal band Crematory. The music is very much heavy metal but with a gothic touch. The guitars are of standard heavy metal riff type, no fun at all, with other words. The music is really boring and the lyrics are pathetic. I can't complain about the vocalist - he sings quite alright, but what difference does it make when the rest is not up to standard? Their cover of Ultravox' "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" doesn't help Century to achieve something. I'd rather call it a sacrilege.
