CREMATORY
ACT SEVEN
ALBUM NUCLEAR BLAST RELEASE: MARCH 15, 1999 REVIEW: JUNE 11, 1999
German metal band Crematory serves ten new songs on this album. I am sorry to say that their music doesn't appeal to me and their commercial success remains a mystery.
The vocals are what disturbs me most. The rough growling "my dick is so huge vocals" are extremely annoying. The guitars aren't funny either. Riffs, riffs and riffs. The music is hard and feels stiff. No synthetic arrangements to vary the sound and the tempo is high throughout almost the entire album.
The fourth song "Fly" reminds me a little bit of Rammstein, maybe because of the German lyrics. It is incredible that Crematory is even worse, which is somewhat of a shock. The only enjoyable track on this album is the concluding "Tale" which is a calm song with piano.
No, this was really painful. Take it away!
