DESIDERII MARGINIS
DEADBEAT
ALBUM COLD MEAT INDUSTRY RELEASE: SPRING, 2001 REVIEW: MAY 22, 2001

Desiderii Marginis play dark ambient and as many fellow dark ambient musicians, they reside in the Cold Meat Industry stable.
The music is atmospheric without rhythms, except for a couple of noise loops raising my interest. You could compare this to Morgenstern, but there are less noise and more beautiful ambience on this album. I find this CD to be a relatively enjoyable one. Although, it gets somewhat tiresome at times, since the soundscape is constant. I would have wanted more of noisy loops, like those in "Mantrap" and "God's Shadow on Earth", and less ambience. Anyhow, this works well as background music and I find pleasure listening to it.
