KILLING MIRANDA
BLESSED DEVIANT
ALBUM NIGHTBREED RELEASE: SUMMER 1999 REVIEW: AUGUST 2, 1999
Could this be the gothic equivalent to heavy metal's Spinal Tap? Five not
very young men looking like clichés and at the same time taking themselves
way too seriously for their own good. They also desperately seek salvation
through cheap electronics. The result is - to put it mildly - pretty lame.
Like a parodic shadow of The Sisters of Mercy's "Vision Thing" spiked with some
meaningless synthpop. So I suggest you keep on searching, boys. And by the
way - stop bothering Miranda!
