NEURAL PARALITIC
RECOLLECTION MIND
ALBUM FRONT RELEASE:
MAY, 2000 REVIEW: MAY 25, 2000
It's clear that some of the European countries lack a tradition of
electronic music. One of them is Slovakia. Maybe that's why bands like
Neural Paralitic tries to make the most of their Skinny Puppy and Front Line
Assembly worshipping. It's annoying, since some, if not much,
potential shines through on "Recollection Mind". But it's not enough just
sounding pissed, skipping real structures and working with lame, second-hand
sounds. The only ones likely to embrace Neural Paralitic are immensely
starved EBM fanatics. There is better, much better hard, body music out
there.
Noteworthy that the vocals sound like a worse version of Peter Spilles of
Project Pitchfork. Imagine that.
