It all begins so fabulously. The opening track on Norsq's debut album is eleven wonderful minutes of warm, swirling techno basses that bounce around over mellow, threatening noise, capturing in an undeterminable sense.
Unfortunately the rest of the album fails to live up to this introduction, and most of it stumbles around in a fairly meaningless Pan Sonic style soundscape of glitches and hums paired with a comparably more energetic techno touch, but mostly without Pan Sonic's (sometimes) fascinating presence.
