PARRALOX METROPOLIS ALBUM CONZOOM RELEASE: NOVEMBER 19, 2010 REVIEW: NOVEMBER 26, 2010

Parralox have, almost single handedly, managed to put Australia back on the electronic pop map. John von Ahlen's precise pop compositions delicately sprinkled with suave, flawless vocals by front woman Amii have med them favourites among many synthpop followers.

What makes Parralox stand out is their obvious professionalism and their ability to write hits. I could very well see them work on mainstream radio labeled "electronic pop" as they have all ingredients to appeal to the masses. And I don't mean that in a negative way.

All songs are pearls in their own right and "Metropolis" is an album to enjoy both in small doses and in its catchy, highly electronic entirety.
