Stabbing synths, distinct drum programming and Spilles's relentless chanting about the darkness of the human psyche are Pitchfork trademarks that remain intact here. Strong production and several clever melodies, but we have heard it so many times before it's beginning to resemble the repetitive pattern of Funker Vogt. "Continuum Ride" is not a bad album by any means, in fact parts of it are very enjoyable, but Spilles and co need to find ways to reinvent themselves. The sooner the better. NIKLAS FORSBERG |
