The Swiss band Samael is back with yet another gothic metal release. I remember the beginning of the nineties when these guys played some kind of satanic metal. They were good except for the lyrics. However, they left those lyrics behind and their music sounded more and more like gothic metal.
The good thing with Samael is that they have an original sound and a good vocalist. The bad thing with this album is that the songs are anonymous. What I would've wanted is more songs with hit potential. "Together" is definitely a hit and my absolute favourite on this album.
My conclusion is that this album is pretty good. Although, it doesn't reach the peaks, as "Ceremony of Opposites" did.
