SLEEPWALK TORTURE CHAMBER ALBUM DARK DIMENSIONS RELEASE: MAY 20, 2002 REVIEW: OCTOBER 18, 2002

Fairly generic dark EBM or electro is what these Swiss gentlemen are up to. Hints of bands like The Klinik (on some occasions at least), Funker Vogt can be found, but it’s not altogether bad. There are more things going on in the songs than usual, such as interesting drum programming, lots of samples and vocoder singing.
I like this, perhaps because it shows its heritage to older types of EBM.
You might have noticed that I recently have been getting tired of the total conformity evident in the EBM genre today. At last someone dares to make something at least partly different. That said though, some tracks here are very unoriginal. But give it a chance if you need some dance music.
