ASSIGNMENT
ALBUM ZOTH OMMOG RELEASE: JULY 3, 2000 REVIEW: JULY 13, 2000
 |
Maybe I was wrong, but I thought that Zoth Ommog usually released pretty good stuff. I would not call this album good, but merely alright. It surely gets a little boring after a while.
Strategy is a solo project of a member from the EBM act Trylok. This album, and especially the vocals, reminds me of Front 242. The music is more oriented towards electropop of a faster and pretty techno inspired style. Except for the vocals I can't notice anything special or remarkable about this project, which is another one making just decent music. The vocals are nothing of the extraordinary, but at least they make you react.
A female guest vocalist appears as well. She takes Strategy a little higher, but it's still not enough. This is simply another project among so many others...
