VNV NATION GENESIS SINGLE DEPENDENT, ENERGY RELEASE: SEPTEMBER 3, 2001 REVIEW: SEPTEMBER 20, 2001

Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson are not fools. They have understood and embraced the balance between the alternative and the commercial. "Genesis" is a natural development into a more accessible techno/synthpop/EBM sound. It's very catchy, up tempo and bound to work in any environment, be it clubs or home listening enjoyment.
To find out more about the new VNV Nation sound I suggest you get at least one of the two different single versions on the market. This review is based on the original version of "Genesis" and the significantly harder "C92" mix that made up the promo track list for this single. Both tracks excellent.
