I am 25
years old and have been into Release music for the last ten years. Before that,
I was mostly into classical music. Among others, I have a background as violanist
in a symphony orchestra. Favourite masterpiece? Without a doubt Carl Orff’s
  “Carmina Burana”.
Otherwise, I consider my taste as quite broad; EBM, darkwave, neofolk, powernoise,
electroclash - you name it. Amongst my house-gods you find Deine Lakaien, Einstürzende
Neubauten, Skinny Puppy, Nick Cave and This Morn’ Omnia.
My contributions to the Release team are based on my passion for the music and
not discographies, name-dropping and ego-trips. Good music is something that
comes from the heart of the creator, and the most important thing for me is
that the music has a soul and at least a feeling of uniqueness.
If I can choose between listening to a CD or get a live-experience, I will definitely
choose the live-option. Skinny Puppy in Dresden 2000, Einstürzende Neubauten
in Arvika the same year and Qntal in Leipzig 2003 are among my best concert
  experiences.
When I don’t write for Release, I work with financial communication for
  a stock-listed security-group in Gothenburg. I have a background as a financial
journalist, and see the work with Release as a way to combine my journalistic
skills with one of my largest interests, namely music.
Please, feel free to contact me to comment or discuss my texts. I am not writing
them for anyone else than for you readers - without knowing what you want it
  is hard to serve it!
