On Friday’s Manifest gala in Stockholm the best Swedish independent music of 2017 was awarded.
There’s a whole bunch of different categories, one of them being synth. And the winner of that category was Priest with the album “New Flesh” on Lövely Records.
The other nominees were:
Xenturion Prime: “Humanity Plus” (Progress Productions)
Wulfband: “Revolter” (Progress Productions)
Anna Öberg: “Härsknar” (Rundgång Rekords, Troglodyt Produktion)
Two of the acts (Priest and Wulfband) are masked and secret. Both Xenturion Prime and Wulfband have won before, and being nominated again is no small feat. Congratulations to all!
