Legendary Swedish label Cold Meat Industry was faced with compulsory liquidation in 2012 and the process was finalized 1 year ago. Now owner Roger Karmanik has finally made an official statement (below). We will miss this quality label for industrial, dark ambient, neofolk, ritual, martial and avantgarde music.

Tonight, the annual Manifest Awards for Swedish independent music were held in Stockholm. In the “synth” category, the following bands were nominated: Page for “Hemma” (Wonderland Records), Covenant for “Leaving Babylon” (Dependent), Henric de la Cour for “Mandrills” (Progress Productions) and Norma for “The Invisible Mother” (Novoton).
“Stop Feeding the Beast” is the title of Apoptygma Berzerk’s new instrumental EP. It’s a limited edition affair, which will only be released in 200 copies of white vinyl in connection to Apop’s upcoming concerts and another 300 copies in black vinyl will be available on line from February 21 onwards. German industrial band In Strict Confidence has launched a series of CD:s with extended versions of their hits, in chronological order. “Lifelines 01″ includes songs from 1991 to 1998.
