Held over the weekend of June 7-8, London’s famous music venue Brixton Academy will host an electronic music festival – Playground.
Of those announced for the festival already, artists include Squarepusher, Leftfield, Gary Numan (pic), The Orb, UNKLE, Kavinsky, Digitalism, John Foxx and the Maths and Wolgang Flür (ex Kraftwerk).
The E-tropolis festival will be moved from Berlin to Oberhausen in the Ruhr area in 2014. The venue will be Turbinenhalle, a complex built in 1909 which has been transformed into cultural center with 2 live stages, a disco area and an indoor merchant gallery. [more...]
