Bill Leeb’s and Rhys Fulber’s resume is indisputable, with a whole bunch of both seminal and successful albums under their belt. After some adventures apart, they recently joined forces again to make a new Delerium album. “Mythologie” is a darker, and in many ways more modern sounding album than previous efforts, and I thought it would be interesting to ask Bill some questions to get the skinny on how “Mythologie” got made.

Release had the opportunity to interview Bauhaus founding member Kevin Haskins as he was finalising his archival book project. The coffee table book is titled “Bauhaus Undead” with subtitle “The Visual History and Legacy of Bauhaus” with the most complete set of memorabilia from the personal archives of Haskins, and some fan donations as well. Swedish duo Daily Planet makes soft, melodic, very analogue synthpop and their 1996 debut “The Tide” is one of the strongest Swedish synthpop albums ever. After a 18 year hiatus they returned with the follow up “Two” a few years ago. And now they’ve just released album number three, which gets raving reviews including a nine in Release. We decided to catch up with Jarmo Ollila and Johan Baeckstrom.
