Code 64 transforms into Xenturion Prime

A short while ago, we wrote about the end of Code 64. After disbanding Code 64, the two members Bjørn Marius Borg and Hasse Mattsson have now unveiled their new project. It’s called Xenturion Prime, and they describe the sound as a “hybrid of electronic industrial and synthpop with cutting edge EDM and epic orchestral soundscapes”. Or “powersynth” as they call it.

The first sign of life will be the single “Rise” this fall, with the album “Mecha Rising” coming in 2014. As with Code 64, it will be the Swedish label Progress Productions that will take care of the release. There’s a little teaser below, which you should check out.

Xenturion Prime will perform their debut gig at the Elektrostat Festival in Oslo, Norway on October 5.
