Nitzer Ebb’s early cassette release “Basic Pain Procedure” is now remastered and available as a rerelease on vinyl via Pylon Records. These old songs were recorded in the Essex countryside as long ago as 1983 when Nitzer Ebb were just kids. This happened about a year after the band’s first live show. “Basic Pain Procedure” is basically their live set at the time and for instance it includes “Home” which found its way to the “Belief” album (as “KIA”).
A NEP collector bought the material from old Nitzer Ebb manager Chris Piper, Nitzer Ebb’s Douglas McCarthy found out and wanted to rerelease it.
“Basic Pain Procedure” is available on 400 black and 200 red and white color split vinyls.
