Yes, that’s true. The German icons will perform at the main stage in Liseberg, Gothenburg, on September 11th.
The past few years, Liseberg has started to book more and more non-mainstream acts and last year Kraftwerk, Rein and Brighter Death Now played live. The head of entertainment is Per Alexandersson, former Hultsfred Festival boss.
This summer, another German band, Rammstein, will also play two sold out gigs at Gothenburg’s main outdoor arena Nya Ullevi in central Gothenburg. It has a capacity of 55-70 000 depending on the set up. So consider where the border between mainstream and extreme is drawn these days.
