Fatal Casualties is an avant garde synth duo from the outskirts of Stockholm. Their debut album “Psalm” comes out in August.
The band consists of Ivan Hirvonen and Stefan Ljungdahl, who met as kids in 1979 but didn’t release their debut EP until about 30 years later. Ivan takes care of vocals and mixes Swedish, English and even Finnish lyrics while Stefan takes care of song writing and programming. They make their own kind of synthpop.
For the track “Laica” on “Psalm” they managed to get hold of Darrin Huss from Psyche to sing a duet with Ivan. You can check out the “body psycho punk” track “Död Man” below.
