Front Line Assembly makes game soundtrack

We recently got some more information about the upcoming Front Line Assembly album.

It’s a bit of a departure, since it’s an instrumental game soundtrack! Of course they have previously done the music for Quake III and Quake III Arena.

The game in question is Airmech from Carbon Games, and the music will be featured during gameplay, but it will also be released as an album in the fall, on Metropolis. The band’s involvement doesn’t end there though, as the members will be featured as pilots in the game, and there will also be a special Airmech variant made with input from the band.
