British electro / indie poppers H2SO4 began as a remix project when electronic pop band Code reworked songs by Sulphur, an indie outfit. They released a bunch of 12″ white labels, and a couple of albums. After a few line-up changes the original crew is now back together again after a 20 year hiatus.
The music is electronic pop in the vein of New Order and Hot Chip, with hints of Underworld thrown in. The upcoming album is called “Love and Death” and comes out on July 23 on Lo-Tek. Check out the forthcoming single “Don’t Delete Me” below, and pre-order on Bandcamp.
