Tom Shear is the man behind Assemblage 23, and last year he did a crowdfunding drive for a new side project where he could let out his EBM tendencies.
He named the project Surveillance (sign of the times, eh?) and now the album “Oceania” is done, and if you’re a contributor your download code should be in the mail.
As of now, you can only get it on the Surveillance Bandcamp page but on March 3 you’ll be able to get it on iTunes etc. A physical version is also in the making down the road.
A first listen shows a darker, harsher sound and a Surveillance bit like the evil twin of A23.
