Electronic music veterans Daniel Myer and Dejan Samardzic – also known as Haujobb – have returned to the studio, and now it’s time to hear what they’ve been up to.
The new album “The Machine in the Ghost” comes out on Dependent on September 20, and is issued in a number of different formats: two vinyl editions – black and clear – and a deluxe 2CD with a bonus disc with unreleased remixes from the likes of Agent Side Grinder, Absolute Body Control, Actors, Chrome Corpse and many more. Pre orders are open.
Once again, they’ve changed direction from their last album. This time the focus is on field recordings, and Haujobb are using a lot of every day items to fill out the soundscape. Our first hint of what it sounds like comes in the form of the single “In the Headlights” which you can listen to below.
