Classic synthpop bands Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys have joined forces on a new single which is out now. Check out the video below.
The track is called “Purple Zone” and is a Soft Cell song which is basically remixed by PSB (featuring extra vocals by Neil Tennant), but it turned out so good they wanted to release it as a single.
A 12″ vinyl will be available in November, but the EP with the same extended / club mixes by PSB can be found right now on all streaming platforms. You can also get a CD with a remix by Manhattan Clique, plus a B-side track called “The Day The World Turned Day-Glo”.
