Bristol synthpop duo Mesh will release no less than two new albums this year.
Firstly, we have the follow-up to “Automation Baby”, their new studio album that’s tentatively called “Looking Skyward”. The band is mixing it as we speak. Richard Silverthorn and Mark Hockings are aiming for an autumn release, with a European tour to follow.
Album number two is a recording of the band’s classical concert in October 2015 at “Gothik Meets Klassik” in Leipzig. Conrad Oleak who made the arrangements for that concert also worked on three more Mesh songs which were recorded with a string quartet for this release.
The last album”Automation Baby” from Mesh is one of my favourite albums in recent years, so I’m giddy with excitement about the news that has reached us.
