Conjure One is the solo project from Rhys Fulber (FLA and Delerium) and he is currently working on a new album, to come out sometime this year. The first single will be called “Under the Gun” and features Leigh Nash on vocals. It’s out on March 25, with a second single called “Still Holding on” due this summer.
Conjure One is no longer on Nettwerk Records as Rhys decided to move to Armada, a dutch trance label founded by Armin van Buuren, amongst others. Some of the biggest dance acts in the world are here, such as Gabriel & Dresden, BT, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk.
It’s not clear if this is a hint regarding the new music, but Rhys has stated that we can “expect a more uninhibited and stylistically varied record”, which sounds good to me.
I’m also intrigued by a tweet by Rhys from October last year about doing a secret project with one of my favourite artists these days – Lights. It’s unclear if this was for the new album, something else entirely or if it will be released at all.
