Nivek Ogre (Skinny Puppy) and Bill Leeb (Front Line Assembly) performed “Assimilate” together in Vancouver last night, as the encore. Leeb was a member of Vancouver band Skinny Puppy when “Assimilate” was recorded.
- This was most beloved show ever. Really hard to put into words how much it meant to all of us. Talk about an epic homcomeing. And yes Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly on the same bill after 26 years is so special for us, Bill Leeb says.
Let’s see what happens tonight in Portland, Oregon.
Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Haujobb and Youth Code are currently on the Eye vs Spy industrial music super tour of North America.
US industrial duo Youth Code couldn’t play Vancouver, Canada, due to border control issues.
- Each border guard is different on whether or not they make the calls they do, and this particular one obviously needed to really prove something. As seen previously, we are able to get into Canada (proven earlier in this tour) so we will continue to work on figuring out the smoothest approach so we never deal with bullshit like this again. Once again, we apologize and its out of our hands, Youth Code writes.
