Orbital’s “A Beginner’s Guide” is set to be released on November 8th on London Records. The album will act as an entry point to those who are unaware of Orbital’s output (and as a kind of greatest hits package to the rest of us).
Spanning their whole 30+ year career, expect everything from early classics like “Chime”, and “Halcyon” to “Satan” and their collaboration with Sleaford Mods: “Dirty Rat”. Note that the CD version will carry six additional tracks, including “Doctor”, their exciting take on the Doctor Who theme.
Additionally, “The Green + Brown Album Tour”, celebrating their first releases, will continue across the US this autumn, hitting Europe in March with dates in Amsterdam and Paris, before heading to the UK, and ending with a final date at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on the 5th of April.
